The Mission of Howard Public Library

The Howard Public Library strives to enrich the quality of life in Howard by providing library materials and services which anticipate and respond to the informational, educational, and entertainment needs of Howard residents to promote life-long learning.

The Howard Public Library is funded by your tax dollars as a resident of Miner County. As a result, you are already a member! To check out media, we ask you to review our policies and give us your contact information. It's that simple. Our collection is diverse and includes many genres, including romance, horror, western, graphic novels/manga, historical, and YA fiction. Our children's library is also growing and includes many classic and newly released titles.

Our catalog of titles can be found here.
